The plants use the CO₂ as their main nutrient and through photosynthesis they supply the aquarium with important oxygen. Inside the diffuser is a special membrane through which the CO₂ diffuses into the aquarium water, which is pumped back into the aquarium by the external filter. The tiny CO2 bubbles dissolve excellently in the water and save about 20% compared to other CO₂ diffusers. Fill the chamber at the beginning of each ligth period. The table shows recommended daily dose ( ml ) in aquariums of different sizes. The chamber should be vented once a week by removing the silicone stopper. 1 CO2 cylinder contains approximately 5000 ml and will last for 1 month in a 60 l tank. ( see the table )

The waterweed is perhaps the best known water plant at all. Due to their rapid growth, it is as algae preventive plant almost ideal.
