Connect the other end of the hose to the non-return valve. Continue connecting from the non-return valve to the diffuser (air outlet). Place the diffuser in the aquarium and adjust the air volume at the outlet. Note: The air hose can be connected directly to the diffuser without a non-return valve. However, non-return valves are recommended to prevent backflow.Zoo-Roco tipIf possible, place the air pump above the water level or use a non-return valve in the air hose. This will prevent water from running back in the event of a power cut. A soft base (e.g. sponge rubber) often helps to ensure quiet operation so that vibrations are not transferred to the furniture.

Accordingly, one or two EHEIM air diffusers are included in the scope of delivery. The air flow can be adjusted directly on the unit for each air outlet, as well as on each diffuser. This allows you to adjust the bubble pattern entirely to your taste and requirements. By the way: Vibration-inhibiting rubber edges also contribute to the smooth running. The air pump stands quietly on these and does not “wander”. Or you can hang it on the wall. A special bracket is provided for this purpose.
