WOLFSBLUT VetLine URINARY wet food is a special complete diet food for adult dogs that is used specifically for urinary tract problems, especially struvite stones. It has been developed to support urinary tract health and help both dissolve existing struvite stones and prevent new stone formation.
Is your dog urinating more frequently or suddenly no longer house-trained? Is he having difficulty relieving himself or is he taking longer than usual to do so? Don't wait and have urinary tract problems checked out by your vet. A disease of the urinary tract - whether caused by a bacterial infection or due to age, breed or diet - can lead to the formation of painful urinary stones. The most common type of urinary stones in dogs are so-called struvite stones, which are caused by the deposition of minerals and substances in the urinary bladder. Because your dog cannot excrete them via the urine, the four-legged patient needs your support.
- Struvite stone prevention: Low protein content and appropriate amounts of magnesium and phosphorus prevent the formation of new struvite stones.
- Stone dissolution: The addition of methionine optimizes the urine pH value to 6.2-6.5, which can contribute to the dissolution of existing struvite stones.
- Urinary tract flushing: Promotes increased fluid intake to increase the volume of urine and flush the urinary tract sufficiently.
