Wabi-Kusa Bio Bottle
Wabi-Kusa basically describes a small plant ball that is planted in a container. The Bio bottle QD172 is a shapely glass in which you can create and maintain your own small plant world. Thus, entire mini landscapes can be created - there are no limits to your creativity!
The planted glass, can be placed in the home or workplace and decorate any place, with a bit of nature. You can basically choose two types: either choose a planting with terrarium plants - that is, a mini dry terrarium, or choose plants from aquaristics (more common form). In this case, it is easiest to choose plants that also grow in the emersed form (i.e. above water). Aquaristic plants that grow emers often bloom differently than they do submersed. In-vitro plants are best suited for planting in a Wabi-Kusa jar.
It is also possible to grow submerged plants in a Wabi-Kusa, but this does require some practice.
To ensure natural circulation of moisture, there is a condensation drain in the glass to ensure that moisture is not lost as quickly. The jars are supplied with a form-fitting lid, to ensure normal air exchange, a small hole was drilled at the top of the side.
This variant of bio bottles also has a built-in LED lamp, which emits a natural daylight white. The LED lamp stimulates natural plant growth and also makes your plant/s look better.

You can basically choose two types: either choose a planting with terrarium plants - that is, a mini dry terrarium, or choose plants from aquaristics (more common form). In this case, it is easiest to choose plants that also grow in the emersed form (i.e. above water). Aquaristic plants that grow emers often bloom differently than they do submersed. In-vitro plants are best suited for planting in a Wabi-Kusa jar. It is also possible to grow submerged plants in a Wabi-Kusa, but this does require some practice. Healthy aquarium / healthy pond with near-natural conditionsThe correct water values in the aquarium/pond depend on the fish population and the plants present. Even if the water looks clear, it may be contaminated. If the values are poor, diseases or algae can form in the aquarium/pond. For a healthy aquarium/pond with near-natural conditions, it is important to regularly check and adjust the water values.
JBL offers water tests in the form of rapid tests or color change tests for every water analysis. These determine a specific value or several values simultaneously. With these water tests, algae problems can be detected and negative nitrate, nitrite, potassium, magnesium values etc. can be determined.
Why test:Nitrite is produced when bacteria break down protein and ammonium. It is normally further processed into non-toxic nitrate. Nitrite (NO2) should not be measurable in aquarium and pond water. If nitrite is nevertheless measurable, the bacterial degradation process is disturbed and from a concentration of 0.4 mg/l it becomes dangerous or even fatal for fish, as nitrite blocks the oxygen transport in the blood of the animals. Water changes and good bacterial starters such as JBL Denitrol or JBL BactoPond can help.
