Finally, there's a complete food for parakeets and small parrots that's packed with the flavors and textures these beloved birds crave. Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries for Cockatiels combines whole seeds, grains and 26% pellets with chunks of real pineapple, papaya and mango in berry-shaped pellets that are just the right size for cockatiels, monk parakeets, collared parakeets, lovebirds and other birds.
Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries are a complete feed, just like pellets. But instead of crushing the ingredients and forming them into a pellet, Lafeber leaves the ingredients largely intact. Lafeber hulls the seeds and grains, adds real fruit pieces, and coats each berry with essential vitamins and minerals so your bird gets balanced nutrition in every bite. A seed mix may be fortified with vitamins and minerals, but these health benefits are lost once the bird crushes the seeds and the empty seed coats are left in the feeder.
Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries are a great way to help your parakeet or small parrot get rid of a predominantly seed-based diet and the associated nutritional deficiencies. Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries also contain a balance of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids to help give your bird healthier skin and feathers and a more powerful immune system.

Nutri Berries Tropical fruits for parrots
Delicious snack balls from Lafeber for parrotsMade with real pieces of pineapple, papaya and mangoExceptionally high acceptance by birds compared to conventional pelletsBalanced omega 3 & 6 fatty acidsNaturally preserved and flavoredProduced in the USA on the Lafeber Family FarmCan be offered as a complete feed or as a healthy treatParrots are always looking for something extra when they eat. They look for food full of flavor and texture, and that's exactly what they find in Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries. These balls are mixed with whole seeds and grains, with real pieces of pineapple, papaya, mango and 26% pellets. The balls can be held by the macaws, gray parrots, amazons and other species with their feet and then enjoyed bite by bite.Instead of grinding all the seeds and grains into pellets, the ingredients in Tropical Fruit Nutri-Berries are left mostly whole to give your parrot the flavor and texture that pellets lack. And unlike vitamin and mineral enriched mixes that lose their health benefits as soon as the bird breaks open the seed, Nutri-Berries are made from hulled seeds and grains; each berry is then coated with essential vitamins and minerals to ensure your parrot gets balanced nutrition with every bite. The minerals are used in jellied form for better absorption, the vitamins are bound for longer life and the food is naturally preserved and flavored.

Herkunftsgebiet: Afrika ist die Heimat aller Agaporniden. Unterarten: Agaporniden mit weissem Augenring: Schwarz- köpfchen Pfirsich- köpfchen Russ- köpfchen Erdbeer- köpfchen   Agaporniden ohne weissen Augenring: Rosenköpfchen Bergpapagei Grauköpfchen Haltung: Agaporniden leben Paarweise in eng begrenzten Gebieten.
