JR FARM sprouted food for budgies and canaries

JR Farm sprouted seed food is a species-appropriate supplementary feed specially tailored to the nutritional requirements of budgerigars and canaries. It is made from high-quality seeds and regularly tested in an independent laboratory.

The feed can either be fed directly to the bird or germinated first to increase the vitamin and nutrient content.

Advantages & special properties

The germination process increases the vitamin and nutrient content and improves digestibility.
Provides a natural form of "fresh green" as a feed supplement
Supports the birds' vitality and immune system thanks to the balanced seed mixture
Without artificial colors or preservatives

Application:

Cleaning / rinsing
First rinse the sprouted feed thoroughly in running water to remove any dirt or dust residues.
Soaking phase
Soak in water and leave to soak for a maximum of 8 hours
Germination phase
Then rinse again, drain and leave to germinate in a covered dish for 24 to 48 hours
Feeding / Serving
After germination, rinse again, drain and serve.
Removing leftovers
Remove uneaten leftovers no later than 6 hours after planting to prevent mold growth.

When the food is sprouted, the proportion of carbohydrates decreases, but the vitamin intake increases.
This makes it ideal for breeding or building up weakened birds.

Feeding recommendation

Instructions for use: Rinse the sprouting seeds thoroughly under running water and leave them to soak, floating in the water, for a maximum of 8 hours. Then rinse again, drain and leave to sprout in a covered bowl for 24 to 48 hours. Rinse again, drain and serve. Remove any leftovers from the cage after 6 hours at the latest.
