Kohlepatronen zur adsorptiven Filterung
Für die adsorptive Filterung – also zur Entfernung chemischer Schadstoffe (Chlor, Medikamentenreste usw.) – gibt es speziell behandelte Kohlepatronen. Adsorptive Filterung ist normalerweise nur in der Einfahrphase des Aquariums oder nach dem Einsatz von Medikamenten nötig. Die Filterpatronen sollten jedenfalls nur über einen begrenzten Zeitraum (ca. 4 Wochen) benutzt und danach entfernt oder ausgetauscht werden.
