JBL ProScape Plant Soil - substrate for aquascaping JBL ProScape PlantSoil - Brown or beige freshwater substrate for aquascaping Complete nutrient substrate for aquatic plants: Special substrate for aquascaping aquariums Vital plant growth: Optimum oxygen supply and circulation thanks to medium grain size Immediate plant supply with nutrients and minerals Tropical water values: Slightly acidic pH value and low carbonate hardness. Reduces water hardness - water becomes soft brown or beige Underwater gardenerAquascaping refers to the technique of designing aquarium landscapes. Imaginative plant arrangements, imitations of an above-water landscape or natural habitats can be created. An aquascaping aquarium contains little or no fish and invertebrates. This reduces the nutrient supply for plants and limits their growth. Nitrogen, phosphorus and other minerals become a scarce commodity and must be fertilized in a targeted manner. For healthy plant growth in a beautiful underwater landscape, plants need light, CO2 and the right nutrients. Rich in mineralsProScape Soils are special substrates that have been specially adapted to the needs of aquascapers. Soils are not water-neutral, but have a softening effect. They soften the water and slightly acidify it so that the pH value moves into the slightly acidic range. JBL Plant-Soils are highly nutrient-loaded to provide the plants with nutrients and minerals immediately, whereas ShrimpsSoils are nutrient-poor. Application:Rinse the substrate briefly under tap water to remove any abrasion caused by transportation. To prevent the minerals from accumulating in the water, change 50% of the water every 2 - 3 days for the first two weeks after filling. As the influence on the water values depends on the initial water and the intervals between water changes, the softening effect decreases over time. Calculation formula for the correct amount of substrate: Length (cm) x width (cm) x height (cm) : 1000 = liters of JBL ProScape Plant Soil

Snail food sticks with calciumThese food sticks serve as complete food for the daily diet of freshwater snails in the aquarium. They ensure a balanced calcium content as well as a rich proportion of vitamins and omega-3 fatty acids for healthy development and the formation of strong snail shells. The calcium food sticks are ideal for a variety of snail species, including post horn snails, racing snails, limpets, bladder snails and tower cover snails, by providing this essential calcium for shell strengthening. The sticks promote even shell growth and prevent corrosion. Their ingredients, including molluscs and crustaceans, cereals, algae, plant by-products, minerals, nuts, oils, fats and yeasts, support the healthy development and nutrition of snails. Adapted to the natural feeding habits of snails, which are known to be growth feeders, the sticks sink quickly and disintegrate in a way that facilitates food intake.Uniqueness: The calcium snail sticks quickly disintegrate into different sized particles that can be easily eaten by both juvenile and adult snails.Content: 45g
