The REPTO Buddha Cascade is more than just a decorative element: it combines appearance, function and terrarium climate in a well-designed water feature.

The gentle flow of water looks particularly harmonious in the terrarium and stylishly showcases your setup – ideal if you want to add a lively, natural detail to your reptile or amphibian habitat. Besides its decorative effect, the cascade serves a clear practical purpose. Running water generally stays fresh for longer and is used by many terrarium animals more frequently as a drinking source than still water. The cascade can therefore serve as an additional drinking spot and support your animal in drinking regularly – especially in terrariums where animals prefer moving water.

Another advantage: due to the continuous movement of water and evaporation, the humidity can be increased in the terrarium. This helps you to create a more stable microclimate – depending on the species and husbandry goal, an important contribution to well-being.

For easy handling, the integrated reservoir with a capacity of 700 ml is provided. The system is designed for uncomplicated cleaning, so that water changes and maintenance do not become a time-consuming task. The DC pump operates with a controller that allows you to adjust the water flow in three stages. This lets you decide whether the water should trickle rather discreetly or flow visibly – suitable for species, terrarium size and desired humidity.

The scope of delivery includes pump, control unit/controller and the riser pipe – so you can get started directly and the cascade is quickly ready for use.

Zoo-Roco tip: Use the cleanest possible water and change it regularly for the reservoir – this keeps the drinking spot attractive and reduces deposits. Place the cascade so that animals can reach it easily, but no substrate is washed into the water (e.g. on a stable, level surface).
