The Arcadia Bird Lamp is specifically designed to provide captive birds that do not receive direct sunlight with an artificial source of vital UV rays.
Using a light source that replicates the natural UV component of sunlight has proven benefits for the health of birds, allowing them a more natural visual perception of their environment, normalizing behavior and often leading to more successful breeding.
Unlike normal fluorescent tubes, the Arcadia Bird Lamp contains special phosphor that emits UV light. This enables it to reproduce the light spectrum of the sun, including 12% UV-A and 2.4% UV-B.

Super gute Lampe und noch bessere Lieferung
Nachdem ich bereits seit Jahren eine BirdLamp hatte ging diese, genau während dem Corona, kaputt. Da meine Geierchen sich aber an das angenehme Licht gewöhnt hatten wollte ich wieder eine solche Lampe und das möglichst schnell... Die Lieferung von euch ging (trotz Lockdown) super schnell und die Röhre war echt super gut verpackt. Die Lampe brennt nun wieder und meine Geierchen geniessen dies.

Lamp Saftey & UsageBird lamps remain UV-B potent (within 40% of total output) for one whole year of use.This is based on using the correct controller and a maximum 12 hour a day photo period. Health concerns should always be reported to a suitable vet who can access the bird properly.Do not allow birds long exposure to bird lamps far closer than stipulated by the product.Humans should remain 12” or more away from the lamp.Lamps should be turned off before cage maintenance is carried out.Bird lamps should not be sprayed with water directly.To be sure of UV-B potency, replace bird lamps once yearly.
