Sydney II - an aviary that offers plenty of space
The Sydney II offers plenty of space for finches, parakeets and small parrots. Included are plastic bowls, perch, removable droppings grid and sturdy castor feet. The Sydney II also has a "breeder door" for attaching an incubator. With a little imagination when it comes to furnishing, there are almost no limits to what you can do with the Sydney II. There is plenty of space for activities, perches and nests.
- Size (W x D x H) approx. 180 x 70 x 180 cm
- Bird house interior height: 160 cm
- Grid spacing: 10 mm
- Grid thickness: 2 mm
- Weight: 80 kg
Suitable for: Finches, parakeets and small parrots
Available in the colours antique and platinium (see pictures)
This enclosure is suitable for:
- 8-16 finches
- 6-12 canaries
- 6-12 budgies
- 4-8 agapornids
- 4-6 large parakeets up to cockatiel size
With a little manual skill, this bird aviary can also be used as a rodent home for rats or chinchillas, for example - replace the perches with tiers (not available as an item), connect them with ladders or attach hammocks - there are no limits to your imagination.
This enclosure is suitable for 3-4 chinchillas and 6-8 rats - because of the litter height, this enclosure is suitable for species that do not require litter height - of course, it can also be converted to ensure litter height.
Please note: The aviary will be delivered to the kerb by a freight forwarder. You must make your own arrangements for transport to the house.

A very good, attractive, well-organised and high-quality aviary that doesn’t look too bulky.
My four lovebirds have more than enough space in the aviary. As I am 160 cm tall, the large doors allow me to easily reach every part of the aviary (except the roof, where I need to use a stepladder or a ladder...). The doors open effortlessly and close securely, making changing the water much more convenient than with the small doors featuring a hook mechanism often found on smaller aviaries. The castors roll smoothly, and the crossbars connecting both sides in the middle do not seem to bother the birds at present. They even like to perch on them from time to time. As is obvious, you need to organise someone to help with the assembly. Otherwise, you’re just making life difficult for yourself... xD.
