Kleiner geht es wirklich nicht mehr! Sie ist wohl die kleinste Anubias der Welt und eine echte Bereicherung für jede Unterwasserlandschaft. In der Kultur und Pflege ist sie gleichermaßen robust wie die Stammform, benötigt aber ein wenig mehr Licht, um schöne, kompakte Polster zu bilden. Die Zwergform kann man schon in einem 10 L Nano Cube verwenden. Sehr natürlich wirken die Pflanzen aufgebunden auf filigranen Wurzeln. Das rote Moorholz ist dafür am besten geeignet. Aber auch auf dekorativen Steinen macht die Bonsai-Anubias eine gute Figur.

Der Javafarn ist die beliebteste Farnart in der Aquaristik und im tropischen Asien weit verbreitet. Die Art ist sehr variabel mit vielen Blattformen und Grössen. Aufgrund der Anspruchslosigkeit ist sie die perfekte Einsteigerpflanze. Am besten wachsen die Pflanzen mit den Rhizomen aufgebunden auf Steinen und Wurzeln. Eine mäßige bis normale Beleuchtung reicht völlig aus, wobei die Pflanze auch bei stärkerer Beleuchtung gut wächst. Oft werden an älteren Blättern Tochterpflanzen gebildet, die man an anderer Stelle erneut mit einer dünnen Angelschnur aufbinden kann.

Aus dem zentralen Hochland in Sri Lanka stammt dieser grüne Wasserkelch. Aufgrund seiner geringen Wuchshöhe von nur 5 - 10 cm ist er die kleinste Art, die in der Aquaristik gepflegt wird. An den Ufern von schnellfliessenden Flüssen wächst er in dichten Kolonien. Cryptocoryne parva wächst sehr langsam und ist in der Pflege auch etwas anspruchsvoller. Eine stärkere Beleuchtung und CO2-Zugaben sind notwendig. Für Nano Cubes ist der kleine Wasserkelch sehr zu empfehlen. Selbst im kleinsten Cube mit 10 L hat der kleine Pflegling ausreichend Platz.

It is native to Brazil, more specifically to Mato Grosso in the Rio Amazon. It has long, brittle stems with pinnate, whorled leaves.The plant itself is reminiscent of dill in appearance. Under good conditions, it can bloom with small, red, single flowers.
It needs a fertile, rich substrate and very intense lighting. Only then can it develop its full potential and show its beauty in the aquarium. It does not like coarse gravel, it grows much better in a fine but permeable substrate.
Intensive CO₂ fertilization is advisable. Liquid fertilizer added to the water column will also improve the aesthetic qualities of the plant, which likes to make use of these resources. If it is well fertilized, it grows luxuriantly and the stems have a beautiful red color. It needs a long day, so the light should be on for at least 8-10 hours. It is very sensitive to the parameters that are not maintained. With regular water changes it grows vigorously and the leaves spread into green fans, while in old water the leaves become much smaller and unsightly. If you change the water every few months, you may lose the plant. Myriophyllum Mattogrossense thrives in both soft and hard water.pH 6-7.2.Temperature 24-28°C It is also important that you prune the Myriophyllum regularly. If the plant is not pruned, it will get very fine leaves, especially in the lower part, which will look very unflattering. Regular pruning of the tops helps to prevent this.
