Esschert Design Trio Bird Feeder XXL
Esschert Design Trio XXL bird feeder with three feeding compartments, a drip tray and a water drain. Sturdy bird feeder for wild birds. Dimensions 23 × 23 × 44 cm.
The ‘ Esschert Design ’ Trio Bird Feeder XXL is a versatile feeding station for native wild birds. Thanks to its three separate feeding compartments, you can offer different types of food at the same time, thereby supporting a variety of bird species in your garden or on your balcony.
Measuring 44 cm in height and 23 cm in diameter or width, the feeder offers ample space for a varied selection of food. The combination of sturdy metal and transparent polycarbonate ensures a practical yet attractive design.
What makes the Trio XXL bird feeder special are its three separate feeding compartments. These allow you to provide different types of food at the same time, without having to hang up several individual feeders.
Depending on the nature of the feeding areas, you can offer suitable seed mixes, peanuts or suet. This allows you to cater for the different preferences of local wild birds.
Titmice, for example, often prefer sunflower seeds and high-fat food, whilst other seed-eaters are happy to eat a variety of seeds.
By providing a varied selection of food, you can attract different species of birds to your feeding area and watch them as they forage.
There is a generous drip tray underneath the feeding areas. This catches falling seeds and bits of food, so that less food ends up directly on the ground.
The dish is designed so that the birds can easily reach the food. This creates additional opportunities for them to feed.
The integrated drainage holes are particularly practical. They allow rainwater to drain away and help to reduce waterlogging in the drip tray.
The bird feeder is made of mild steel and polycarbonate (PC). The metal construction ensures stability, whilst the plastic elements allow a clear view of the food supply.
The green colour scheme blends harmoniously into a natural garden setting.
Thanks to the hanging mechanism, the bird feeder can be attached to a suitable spot in the garden or on the balcony.
A feeder stocked with a variety of food can provide opportunities for numerous interesting bird-watching experiences.
Depending on the location, season and food on offer, you may spot, for example, great tits, blue tits, house sparrows, tree sparrows or finches.
The Trio XXL bird feeder is particularly suitable for bird lovers who wish to offer several types of food at a single central feeding point.
With its spacious design, three feeding areas and practical drip tray, it is a practical addition to a bird-friendly garden.

Zoo Roco Tip
With the ‘ Esschert Design ’ Trio XXL bird feeder, you can transform your garden into a varied feeding spot for native wild birds.
Offer a variety of high-quality foods to attract different species of birds. A good sunflower seed mix, suitable peanuts and energy-rich fatty foods, for example, can form an interesting combination, provided the feeding areas are designed to accommodate them.
Correct positioning is particularly important. Hang the bird feeder in a clearly visible spot where the birds can quickly reach a safe place of refuge in case of danger.
Make sure there are no places where cats can hide directly under or next to the feeding area.
Add a shallow bird bath to your feeding station. Fresh water is important for wild birds all year round, not just in summer.
Native shrubs, wildflowers, berry-bearing trees and shrubs, and natural garden areas also help to provide wild birds with natural food sources and suitable habitats.
Clean the bird feeder regularly to minimise the spread of pathogens via contaminated food.
