The new Herp-Nursery II is still equipped with the proven Peltier technology, which enables the device to maintain the set temperature not only by heating, but also by cooling – ideal for hot summers, but also for the hibernation of reptiles. It automatically switches to heating or cooling, depending on what is required to maintain the desired temperature. The Herp Nursery also has overheating protection. And all this with an average power consumption of just 10W/h.

The Herp Nursery II also has a viewing window and a switchable interior light, which makes it easier for you to observe the eggs.

The temperature range depends on the ambient temperature and is approx. 5°C-60°C. The temperature can be set in 1°C increments using the digital thermostat. Please note that there is a temperature gradient of approx. 4°C between the upper and lower sections of the interior. This means that species with different temperature requirements can be incubated in the appliance without any problems, or that special sexes can be incubated. Due to the temperature gradient, the temperature display is only a guide value. It is therefore advisable to check it with a thermometer.
