JBL pH-Plus - Water conditioner to increase the pH values for freshwater and saltwater aquariums
For adjusting the pH value to the requirements of fish and invertebrates in freshwater and saltwater aquariums
Rapid raising of the pH value and stabilization by increasing the carbonate hardness
Freshwater application: Multiple dosing as required to raise the carbonate hardness to the desired value if the water is too soft. Maximum increase in pH value to 8.5
Marine water application: Adjustment of the carbonate hardness to the natural marine value of 7 - 12°d KH and thus adjustment of the required pH value of 8.0 - 8.4
1 bottle of pH/KH corrector. Application: 10 ml/40 l water. Results in an increase of approx. 1° dKH
Nature at home - a home for fish and plantsFish should feel as comfortable in the aquarium as they do in nature. Aquatic inhabitants have adapted to the acidity (pH value) of their habitat and should also find similar conditions in the aquarium. The wrong pH value not only means stress for the aquarium inhabitants, but can also be the cause of illness or reduce their lifespan. JBL water conditioners lower or raise the pH value and make the aquarium water suitable for fish again.
Advantages of JBL water conditionersRapid raising of the pH value, stabilization by increasing the carbonate hardness.
JBL Detoxol - instant detoxifier
JBL Detoxol instantly removes toxins such as ammonia (NH3), nitrite (NO2), chlorine and chloramine in freshwater and saltwater aquariums
Normally, these toxins are not a problem in a well-established aquarium. But if the water is changed too much or the aquarium is overfed, or if the aquarium is moved or started up, the nitrite content can very quickly become too high and toxic - JBL Detoxol is the quick emergency aid!
Extremely fast effect: the toxins are demonstrably neutralized after just 10 minutes
Nitrite & nitrate formation is reduced by removing ammonium. Binds heavy metals such as copper and lead.
Stabilizes the carbonate hardness (KH). Can be overdosed up to 5 times
Scope of delivery: 1 bottle of JBL Detoxol incl. dosing cap for easy and precise dosing
Dosage:Add 10 ml JBL Detoxol to 40 l of water. Very high binding capacity: 10 ml can bind 30 mg ammonium and 2 mg chlorine
Ammonia and nitrite are toxic to fish. Normally, the biology and the filter should manage to keep the values within a problem-free range. This biological balance can be disturbed by medication, overfeeding and/or too many fish, resulting in problematic concentrations of the toxins mentioned. Immediate action is essential to prevent losses! By adding JBL Detoxol, the toxins are safely and quickly neutralized within 10 minutes and no longer pose a danger. In addition, the causes of the toxins should be identified and eliminated. Differences to other products: Water conditioner such as JBL Biotopol: The water conditioner also neutralizes chlorine & chloramine as well as heavy metals. But it cannot neutralize toxic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and nitrite. Bacterial preparations such as JBL Denitrol: JBL Denitrol can also remove ammonium/ammonia and nitrite, but in a biological way via bacterial decomposition. Unfortunately, this is not possible in 10 minutes, but takes hours to days. For the long-term functioning of an aquarium, the bacterial water conditioner JBL Denitrol is the right way to go - JBL Detoxol is the right choice for quick immediate help
JBL Pro Clean BAC Cleaning bacteria that instantly clean your aquarium. A cartridge filled with cleaning bacteria that will keep your aquarium clean and your fish healthy. These bacteria are among one of the good bacteria that transform toxins into harmless ones. Various JBL bacteria products contain high concentrations of certain strains of bacteria that, for example, convert problematic nitrogen compounds such as ammonium (NH4), ammonia (NH3) and nitrite into harmless nitrogen compounds (nitrate (NO3) or nitrogen gas (N2)). You also don't need to worry about overdosing the Pro Clean BAC because the bacteria will extract your nutrients from these nitrogen compounds and if they don't eat enough, these bacteria will die. Helps keep the aquarium cleanBefore use, shake the cartridge and empty the entire contents into the aquariumSupports the filter, breaks down pollutants and cleans the bottomBest used after a water change, adding a new fish or cleaning the filter
JBL PRONOVO BEL GRANO MAquarium staple food granulate in size M for small aquarium fish from 8 to 20 cm in size for community aquariums.Prebiotic and sinking aquarium fish food: Special dietary fibers in the food provide the beneficial intestinal bacteria with nourishment for healthy digestion.Natural raw materials without artificial additives for a natural diet and healthy aquarium fish. Tested on JBL research expeditions in the tropicsVery high acceptance even by fussy fish species due to high-quality raw materials such as salmon, squid, shrimps and garlicWith the very high-quality natural astaxanthin from krill and spirulina, which ensures perfect colour formation in ornamental fishScope of delivery: original sealed, airtight and lightproof, recyclable tin with click-doser as feeding aid or 20 g in a fresh bagIn community aquariums with different species of fish, the ornamental fish kept will also have different requirements for the fish food. JBL PRONOVO BEL takes into account the different types of food and offers your fish a great variety and diversity for a natural and healthy diet. If you would like to perfect the food supply, you can supplement the main food JBL PRONOVO BEL with other food types from the JBL species concept as well as treats. The biological species concept for ornamental fish:In addition to a staple food such as JBL PRONOVO BEL for community aquariums, the JBL PRONOVO species concept is available to your fish. Within the species concept you can supplement food specifically for fish species or also choose instead of the main food. It is not a problem if, for example, your fighting fish also eats the food for your barbs and vice versa. It is only important that you offer the appropriate food for each group of fish. Variety is always positive!Would you, for example, like to feed your neon or armoured catfish exactly the right food? No problem: in the JBL Species Concept you will find a granulate for neon tetras (and other small tetras) which is suitable for mouths and whose composition is precisely adapted to the needs of the fish, including insects: JBL PRONOVO NEON. In their natural habitats in South America, neon tetras live in very nutrient-poor black water biotopes and depend on small, mouth-friendly plankton. Corydoras, on the other hand, live on the bottom and have a different food spectrum. JBL PRONOVO CORYDORAS (Corydoras = scientific name of the armoured catfish species) therefore contains suitable raw materials such as shrimps and spirulina. Corydoras need a varied diet for a healthy diet. The shrimps are representative of all the small animal organisms and also carrion, which the armoured catfish feel on the ground with their barbels.
EHEIM Substrat pro (250ml)
EHEIM Substrat pro is an optimised biological filter medium with perfect volume utilisation, long service life and maximum decomposition performance SUBSTRATpro consists of spherically sintered quartz. The spherical shape allows for a high bulk density. This means the volume in the filter (filter baskets or modules) can be fully utilised. Additionally, the optimised surface of the beads ensures intensive colonisation of the important cleaning bacteria. A dense bacterial lawn forms. Due to the high number of bacteria, nitrite load peaks are better reduced and the service life of the filter material is extended. EHEIM SUBSTRATpro is suitable for fresh and salt water, is washable and can be reused multiple times.
Optimised biological filter medium made from sintered quartz
High bulk density due to spherical shape (beads)
Very dense bacterial colonisation
Longer service life
Better degradation with nitrite contamination
Reusable multiple times (rinse carefully for cleaning)
Suitable for fresh and salt water
Tip:Never clean or replace all the biological filter material in one go (and never too thoroughly). The bacterial cultures must not be completely destroyed, otherwise recolonisation is delayed. For partial cleaning, the filter baskets in external filters and the filter modules in the aquaball and biopower internal filters are ideal.

ProFito plant fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination.EasyCarbo is a very powerful and efficient source of carbon for aquarium plants. Carbon is essential for plants. The fertiliser can be used for aquariums with or without additional carbon dioxide fertilisation. A strong growth spurt is noticeable after just a few weeks. EasyCarbo increases the competitive power of plants against algae and at the same time contributes to their reduction. The product is ideal for combining with the plant nutrient ProFito.
Algae no longer stand a chance
Plants assimilate and grow much better because of the carbon from EasyCarbo. Especially marsh plants such as Cryptocoryne sp. and Echinodorus sp. react positively, as EasyCarbo is very easily absorbed. They grow much more vigorously and look more beautiful and fuller. The more vigorous growth of underwater and marsh plants causes a reduction in algae. Brush algae, beard algae and the like really don't stand a chance any more. The use of ProFito complete fertiliser and EasyCarbo carbon fertiliser is the right combination!
Plants need more than just carbon. Trace elements are also essential. Trace elements can never be measured exactly and as we do not know which trace elements are present in the water, ProFito is the ideal solution to enrich water comprehensively with trace elements.
Disposable CO2 bottleThis disposable CO₂bottle supplies your aquarium plants with their main nutrient, carbon dioxide (CO₂). Turn the pressure regulating fitting with internal thread onto the external thread (M10x1) of the supply bottles, and you are ready to go. The pressure bottle should always stand vertically as long as it is in use.Scope of delivery: disposable cylinder, ready-filled with 1.2 kg CO₂, dimensions: approx. 45 × 10 cm, thread M10x1Easy installationIncluding mounted rubber standTÜV-testedTotal height with mounted pressure reducer: 37 cmCO₂ disposable bottle or CO₂ reusable bottle? There are two different types of bottle: Disposable bottles, which are disposed of as well as recycled after emptying, and reusable bottles, which could be refilled again and again. Refilling can be done by pet shops and gas companies. If you live in a region where refilling is problematic, for example, the disposable bottle would be an alternative. If the refilling situation improves, you can convert the disposable pressure reducer into a reusable pressure reducer in 2 minutes by screwing on the adapter (JBL PROFLORA CO2 ADAPT u-m). Aquarists who live on islands, for example, are sometimes not allowed to transport filled reusable bottles on ferries or planes. Disposable bottles are then sometimes allowed! (Please always clarify exactly)The size of the bottle often depends on the cupboard below where the CO₂-supply bottle is placed: a 500 g disposable bottle is only 31 cm high (plus pressure reducer = 37 cm), a 500 g reusable bottle with stand is already 43 cm and a 2000 g bottle 45.5 cm high. In principle, of course, a larger bottle is advantageous because it simply needs to be replaced or refilled less often.
