Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Wet
For dogs over 1 year
5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals/stones are dissolved. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be given for at least 1 month beyond the first negative urine test.
Attention: In older dogs, a kidney function test is recommended before administering URINARY S/O CANINE Wet food.
Important notes:
- Veterinary diet food should only be administered in consultation with your vet.
- During treatment with a veterinary diet, you should see your vet regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet’s health should deteriorate, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Struvite dissolution
The composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals/stones
Urine dilution
By increasing urine volume, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalates is counteracted.
Low RSS value
Helps to reduce the ions in urine that form struvite and oxalate crystals (undersaturation).
Low magnesium content
Magnesium is a main component of struvite stones (ammonium magnesium phosphate).
Feeding guidelines
Recommended daily ration (g/day):
Offer water for free intake
