Royal Canin Dog Urinary S/O Small Dog Dry
For dogs up to 10 kg body weight
5 to 12 weeks, or until the struvite crystals/stones have dissolved. In the case of urinary tract infections, the diet should be administered for at least 1 month after the first negative urinalysis.
Note: In older dogs, a kidney function test is recommended before administering URINARY S/O SMALL DOG.
Important notes:
- Veterinary diet food must only be given in consultation with a vet.
- During treatment with a veterinary diet, you should visit the vet regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
- If your pet’s health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Struvite Dissolution
The composition supports the dissolution of struvite crystals/stones.
Low RSS value
Helps to reduce the ions in urine that form struvite and oxalate crystals (undersaturation).
Urine Dilution
By increasing urine volume, the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate is counteracted.
Tartar Prevention
Calcium catchers can help to counteract tartar formation. The kibble has a mechanical abrasive effect on plaque and tartar.
