Arcadia LampGuard Pro – Protective grille for your terrarium lightingWith the Arcadia LampGuardPro you can protect your terrarium animals from direct contact with the lighting. The lamp guard prevents animals from touching hot lamps, wrapping themselves around them or sitting on them. At the same time, the guard protects the lamp from direct contact with the animals.The specially designed wire mesh allows as much light and UV radiation as possible to enter the terrarium. According to the manufacturer LampGuardPro reduces the total light output by around 15 %.The chosen mesh design and the glossy coating ensure high light transmission whilst providing protection. You will need four suitable screws for assembly. Thanks to the integrated hinges on both sides, the cage can be opened to change the bulb once two screws have been removed. Multiple cable entry points facilitate cable routing and allow for use with different lighting systems.LampGuardPro is available in six lengths ranging from 410 to 1260 mm. Secure the lamp guard with four suitable screws and feed the cables through the designated openings. Disconnect the lighting from the mains before installation, cleaning or changing the lamp, and allow the lamp to cool down. Wipe the grille clean as required to ensure that deposits affect light transmission as little as possible.Zoo Roco Tip:  Before purchasing, check the exact model name and length of your light fitting. A protective grille does not replace the prescribed distances from the lighting. When setting up your enclosure, also bear in mind that even a light-transmitting grille blocks some of the UV radiation.

Heat Lamp CageArcadia’s ‘Heat Lamp Safety Cage’ is a user-friendly, stylish product that simply slips over a lamp and a lamp holder (Ceramic Lamp Holder Pro).Heat lamp safety cages help to reduce the risk of burns and are therefore an essential accessory for all heat lamps used in a terrarium. The cage features a spring-loaded door at the bottom, which allows for easy lamp replacement, as well as flat eyelets for securing screws.The cage also has an opening for the power cable, ensuring everything stays neat and tidy. Remember to always use a suitable thermostat control system with the heating system and cage to both protect the animal and the keeper. 

Hobby UV-B Quick test With this test, you can easily and quickly see whether your source of UV-B rays continues to radiate them. To test this hold the card approximately 5 cm under the lamp and wait 10 seconds. A part of the card will change from white to purple, depending on the intensity of discolouration you can tell the strength of your UV rays. According to the manufacturer, this card can be used up to 500 times. Warning! Replace your UV-lamp at least yearly if not more often, this card should be used as an indicator to do so.
