These heating mats emit infrared radiant heat similar to ceramic heaters. The radiation directly warms objects and animals and only slightly increases the air temperature. This makes it easier to achieve and control the temperature gradient necessary for many reptiles in the terrarium.
The heating mats are equipped with a self-adhesive film and can therefore be easily installed. Thanks to the radiant heat, these heating mats can be installed not only on the floor but also on the sides or the lid of the terrarium. The special design of the heating mat is characterised by optimum heat distribution and thus reduces the risk of overheating.
ATTENTION!
Most floor substrates (beech shavings, bark substrates, sawdust etc.) are not suitable for use with underfloor heating. Please inform yourself and in this case install the heating mat on the side of the terrarium. For safety reasons, we recommend only using heating mats with a thermostat.

A good start, very useful.
We have been using the product for a few days now and it warms the fine sandy soil in the crickets. Accordingly, more watering is required, more evaporation. Disadvantage: Cannot be regulated. What I didn't like is the fact that the mat is packed tightly rolled up. The mat takes on the shape and is difficult to handle, especially in connection with the adhesive side. It is best to work with two people.

Heater for the aquariumFish adapt to the outside temperature. The vital functions of cold-blooded animals decline with falling temperatures. The correct aquarium temperature is therefore very important to ensure problem-free feeding and a smooth functioning metabolism. Depending on the origin of the fish, the temperature at which they feel comfortable varies.
Simple installationPlace the heater in the protective cage supplied. Select the desired temperature on the dial and immerse the heater in the aquarium at least up to the "min. water level" line. Secure with the suction holders. As soon as the heater is connected to the power supply, the indicator light will illuminate. The heater can also be mounted horizontally, e.g. in turtle tanks.
Optimum temperature transferThe safety control heater from JBL offers optimum temperature transfer in the range of 20-34°C. A control accuracy of +/- 0.5 °C is guaranteed with the aid of the setting wheel. The maximum achievable temperature depends on the water volume and the temperature difference to the surrounding room.
Safety control heaterEmbedded in a protective cage to prevent fish from burning themselves. The heater is waterproof, can be immersed up to 100 cm and is very stable with 2 mm safety quartz glass. 3. are sensors included in the scope of delivery?
Yes, 2 temperature probes and 1 humidity probe are usually included (for immediate commissioning).
4. can a night setback be set?
Yes, a night setback can be programmed so that the temperatures behave more naturally at night.
5. will the appliance continue to function after a power failure?
The settings remain saved. Depending on the situation, it may be necessary to set the time again so that timer functions run accurately again.
