It supports the optimal construction and maintenance of the skeleton and promotes a healthy calcium metabolism in reptiles and amphibians. NEKTON-Rep-Calcium-Pur+ contains no vitamin D3 and is specially developed for animals that are supplied with sufficient UVB light or free-living animals with sufficient sun exposure (approx. 10 hours). These can produce their own vitamin D and therefore do not need an extra proportion of vitamin D3 in the product.Reptiles and amphibians need less food than mammals because they have a relatively low energy requirement.
