Markus-Mühle, Natur-Nah dog food
NaturNah Dog Food for all breeds is, thanks to its special and natural composition, a high-quality complete food for every dog. This food is packed with power! It has been put together by practitioners who are surrounded by many dogs every day, because dogs should also live healthy lives. 367 kcal/100g – this highly digestible energy value is achieved without the addition of sugar and starch.
All solid ingredients are specially ground into flour! This optimises the bioavailability of natural products, the mixing, and the vital nutrient-protecting cold pressing.
Easy feeding:
Fresh water must always be available for free intake, plus a clean bowl with unmixed Markus-Mühle® NaturNah Dog Food, and you are done.
Recommended feeding amount:
approx. 1.2% of body weight (as a rule of thumb), e.g. a 10 kg dog receives approx. 120 g, dachshund size approx. 100 g, Cocker size approx. 180 g, German Shepherd size approx. 420 g.
Give a little less in the first three days for acclimatisation.
For performance dogs and breeding dogs, the daily feeding ration can be increased if necessary.
We have not used any artificial flavourings or attractants.
Your dog needs to get used to the new, unfamiliar food, so be consistent.
Every dog is different! Ideally, put out the specified amount of food for him in the morning; if there is some left the next morning, it is correct. If his bowl is empty, increase the portion. It is wrong to get a dog used to always eating his bowl empty at once. This only leads to a greedy, excessive eater, out of fear, because he knows there will be nothing more afterwards. In the wild, dogs also eat several times a day and are not overweight. That is healthier too.
With large dogs that eat their ration at once, the food is often not digested enough, as too little digestive juice is produced.
A variety of foods or supplementary feeding is not necessary.
However, there is nothing wrong with a small treat, e.g. a soft-boiled egg twice a week, a piece of meat, liver, beef brisket cartilage, fish (cook all as a precaution against viruses, germs, bacteria etc.), occasionally a slice of butter or a little sour cream, etc.
No sugar biscuits, sweets, chocolate, etc. You should also avoid excessive feeding of starchy foods such as bread, potatoes, pasta, oats, etc.
Long-term studies by nutritionists have shown that with a balanced complete feed, additional feeding and variety are not required from a nutritional physiological point of view.
The best food for a dog is still small prey animals. However, this cannot be put into practice everywhere. Therefore, better a dog that gets the same thing every day and is healthy, than a dog that is stuffed with something different every day and has deficiency symptoms.
