Notes

This species, originating from Mauritius, is an endemic plant that occurs only on the island of Mauritius. It grows very well, but as with Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, the growth rate is rather slow. Its leaf shape is roundish in cross-section and is somewhat reminiscent of miniature chives. Here too, radical pruning promotes the formation of a dense stand. This grass-like plant is ideally suited for nano cubes and also for “aquascaping”. Creeping rhizome with very thin leaves, slow-growing, turf-forming.
