Royal Canin Cat Urinary S/O Dry
For cats over 6 months5 to 12 weeks or until the urinary crystals/stones have dissolved. To prevent recurrence, the diet should be continued for at least another 6 months.Attention: URINARY S/O is a complete diet for cats. The low magnesium content and special formulation enable the dissolution of struvite stones. Furthermore, this food can also be used for urinary tract conditions.
Important notes:
Veterinary diet food should only be administered in consultation with your vet.
While treating your pet with a veterinary diet, you should regularly (approx. every 6 months) visit the vet for check-ups.
If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Struvite stone dissolutionThe composition of URINARY S/O helps to dissolve struvite stones effectively.Increased urine volumeThe recipe supports an increased urine volume. This counteracts the formation of struvite and calcium oxalate stones.Low RSS valueAn under-saturated urinary environment counteracts the spontaneous crystallisation of struvite and calcium oxalate.Protection of the bladder mucosaGlycosaminoglycans (GAG) are natural components of the bladder mucosa and can help protect against the penetration of bacteria and toxins.

Royal Canin Cat Gastro Intestinal Dry
For kittens and adult cats.GASTRO-INTESTINAL is a complete dietary food for cats to alleviate acute disorders of intestinal absorption and to support weight gain during convalescence. The food contains particularly easily digestible feed materials and has a high content of electrolytes, important nutrients and energy.Mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS) stimulate the local immune system of the intestine (Ig A) and help to neutralise pathogenic bacteria.
Important notes:
Veterinary diet food must only be given in consultation with a vet.
During treatment with veterinary diet food, you should visit your vet regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
If your pet’s state of health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
High digestive securityHighly digestible proteins reduce intestinal fermentation processes. Fermentable fibres (FOS) support a balanced intestinal flora.High energy contentThe high energy density allows small meals to be fed, thus relieving the intestine.High acceptabilityCats with digestive disorders often suffer from loss of appetite and weight loss. High palatability encourages spontaneous food intake and thus recovery.EPA/DHAEicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids. These can help to support intestinal health.

Royal Canin Cat Diabetic Dry
For cats from 6 months of age after diagnosis of diabetes mellitusThe feeding of the diet should be maintained for life. Although diabetes mellitus in cats may be reversible, lifelong continued treatment reduces the risk of recurrence.Warning: The use of this food increases the cat’s insulin sensitivity. It is therefore strongly recommended to measure the glucose and fructosamine content in the blood before starting this diet and to adjust the cat, if necessary, to a lower insulin dose.
Important notes:
Veterinary diet food must only be given in consultation with the veterinarian.
During treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should regularly (approx. every 6 months) visit the vet for check-ups.
If the pet’s health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Moderate energy contentA reduced energy content promotes optimal condition and can minimise insulin resistance associated with overweight.GlucomodulationThe effects of psyllium and the addition of cereals (barley) can effectively prevent postprandial hyperglycaemia. Simple sugars are not included.High protein contentThe increased protein content contributes to the reduction of net energy intake and can ensure a delayed glucose supply.Joint protectionChondroitin sulphate (inhibits enzymatic damage to chondrocytes) and glucosamine (stimulates the formation of new glycosaminoglycans) counteract degenerative joint diseases.

Further information
Diet foods with adjusted starch content / high protein content support clinical control and a reduced insulin requirement and increase the reversibility rate of diabetes in cats due to a reduced insulin requirement and support clinical control. A high protein content supports the acceptance of the food, important in cats with diabetes mellitus, so as not to interfere with the administration of insulin. Regular blood testing and clinical examination by the vet is recommended.

Royal Canin Cat Obesity Management Wet (12x100g)
For cats over 6 monthsThe individual target weight, the duration and the corresponding feed quantities are determined according to the degree of overweight. The optimal weight loss is 0.5 to 2 % per week. The daily ration should initially be based on a target weight reduction of approx. 15 % compared to the current weight. Cats with too fast weight loss are subject to the risk of a hepatic lipidosis.Attention: OBESITY MANAGEMENT FELINE Wet is a complete diet for cats to reduce overweight. This food has a reduced energy content.
Important information:
Veterinary diet food may only be fed in consultation with the veterinarian.
During the treatment with a veterinary diet food, you should visit the veterinarian regularly (approx. every 6 months) for check-ups.
If your pet's health deteriorates, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Low energy densityThe formula allows an increased daily feed amount with reduced calorie content, which can increase the satiation effect.High protein contentThe increased protein content supports the saturation and the preservation of the muscle substance.Adapted starch contentA reduced starch content reduces the occurrence of postprandial hyperglycaemia.Protection of the jointsChondroitin sulphate (inhibits the enzymatic damage of chondrocytes) and glucosamine (stimulates the formation of new glycosaminoglycans) counteract degenerative joint diseases.

Royal Canin Cat Calm Dry
For adult catsCALM should be fed for 2 - 3 months, is a complete diet and lifelong feeding is possible. Depending on the stress trigger (New Year's Eve, moving house, birth, holiday, renovation, etc.), feeding should be started 10 days to 4 weeks in advance. The dry food CALM is an innovative, comprehensive approach to dietary stress management through the effectiveness of the two active substances alpha-casozepine and L-tryptophan (Beata et al, 2007). CALM is lactose-free.
Important notes:
Veterinary diet food must only be given in consultation with your vet.
While your pet is being treated with a veterinary diet, you should regularly (approx. every 6 months) visit your vet for check-ups.
If your pet’s health worsens, seek veterinary advice immediately.
Stress controlThe hydrolysed milk protein (alpha-S1-casein) contains a patented peptide with stress-regulating properties (alpha-casozepine). L-tryptophan is a precursor of serotonin (neurotransmitter, regulation of appetite, anxiety, sleep).Excellent digestibilityProteins with the highest digestibility in the small intestine (L.I.P.) result in fewer undigested proteins in the colon. In combination with beet pulp and fish oil, intestinal health is supported.Strengthening the natural skin barrierThe synergistic combination of vitamins and amino acids strengthens the natural skin barrier by increasing the production of ceramides (skin lipids) for protection against external influences, the ingress of allergens and dehydration of the skin.Regulation of hairball formationFermentable (beet pulp) and non-fermentable (maize fibre) fibres in a balanced ratio support the excretion of hairballs. Psyllium (plantain seeds) can, as with other poorly digestible fibres, positively influence intestinal transit and make it easier to pass faeces.
