Almo Nature Classic – Fish (24x70g) Cat food
Almo Nature Cat is a wet food made exclusively from ingredients fit for human consumption. The food consists of meat or fish with broth and rice.
Almo Nature Cat contains no mineral or vitamin supplements, as the product is naturally rich in these nutrients.
Nutritional needs of cats: The view of Almo Nature
The cat is a strict carnivore whose natural prey (mice, small rodents and birds) consists of approx. 70 to 80 % water. By eating these animals, the cat automatically ingests most of the water it needs to survive – which is precisely why it has no instinct to drink. If our domestic cat is only fed dry food today, it runs the risk of not consuming enough water.
Almo Nature therefore recommends a diet based on two principles:
- Variation between dry and wet food: a daily alternating diet consisting of both wet food (at least 60 % of the daily ration) and dry food (maximum 40 % of the daily ration).
- Variation of proteins: the variation between all types of white and red meat (source of iron) and fish (rich in fatty acids) to ensure a sufficient protein intake in its entirety.
The quality of the food is just as important: Almo Nature offers products made from the highest quality ingredients and without the addition of chemical additives.
