Even more, olive wood is very suitable in direct contact with food, because bacteria are rendered harmless by the acid of the wood. The manufacturing process of the Olivi toys is very gentle overall: the drying takes place naturally outdoors. No additives such as chemical varnishes are used, but all products are rubbed with pure olive oil. Furthermore, the production takes place at fair prices. Important information from the manufacturer: If your dog chews with great force, it can happen that smaller or larger wood fibres are gnawed off and pieces (even several cm) are chewed off or broken off. Normally, these are not eaten by the dogs, but can be removed as a precaution if there are concerns. Through chewing, the chew toy loses size and weight over time. If the size becomes so small that your dog might manage to swallow it, we recommend replacing the chew toy. We would like to point out that gnawing on hard objects is not suitable for dogs with loose or sensitive teeth, as well as for dogs that tend to bite chewing items immediately.
