Lunderland - Green-lipped mussel - 100% Perna canaliculus

The shell of the mussel is removed before processing so that the powder consists of 100% freeze-dried and then ground mussel meat.
Lunderland - Green-lipped mussel powder is food for your pet’s joints.
This is due to the high content of glucosamine glycans. These amino sugars are needed for cartilage formation and cartilage lubrication.
In the case of overloaded joints, high physical exertion, rapid growth or old age, it can be useful to feed green-lipped mussel powder to supply the joint with this necessary nutrient.

Tip for cat owners:
As the natural taurine content of raw meat is reduced by the cooking process and cats urgently need sufficient taurine for their health, our tins are NOT suitable for cats as a CONTINUOUS ALL-ROUND FOOD without further additives.
However, this does not apply if the tinned meat is regularly dusted with green-lipped mussel powder, because the mussel powder has a very high content (2.4%) of NATURAL taurine.
