Note: Linear bird lamps are designed for luminaires with high-frequency ballasts. Do not use in luminaires with a diffuser (unless this is specifically designed for UV light) - diffusers block the UV rays from the lamp.

The Arcadia Bird Lamp is specifically designed to provide captive birds that do not receive direct sunlight with an artificial source of vital UV rays.

Using a light source that replicates the natural UV component of sunlight has proven benefits for the health of birds, allowing them a more natural visual perception of their environment, normalizing behavior and often leading to more successful breeding.
Unlike normal fluorescent tubes, the Arcadia Bird Lamp contains special phosphor that emits UV light. This enables it to reproduce the light spectrum of the sun, including 12% UV-A and 2.4% UV-B.

Super good lamp and even better delivery

After having had a BirdLamp for years, it broke during the corona crisis. But as my vultures had got used to the pleasant light, I wanted a lamp like this again and as quickly as possible... The delivery from you was super fast (despite the lockdown) and the tube was really well packaged. The lamp is now burning again and my vultures are enjoying it.
