Arcadia LampGuard Pro – Protective grille for your terrarium lighting
With the Arcadia LampGuardPro you can protect your terrarium animals from direct contact with the lighting. The lamp guard prevents animals from touching hot lamps, wrapping themselves around them or sitting on them. At the same time, the guard protects the lamp from direct contact with the animals.
The specially designed wire mesh allows as much light and UV radiation as possible to enter the terrarium. According to the manufacturer LampGuardPro reduces the total light output by around 15 %.
The chosen mesh design and the glossy coating ensure high light transmission whilst providing protection. You will need four suitable screws for assembly. Thanks to the integrated hinges on both sides, the cage can be opened to change the bulb once two screws have been removed. Multiple cable entry points facilitate cable routing and allow for use with different lighting systems.
LampGuardPro is available in six lengths ranging from 410 to 1260 mm. Depending on the version, the protective grille is suitable for T8 lights, T5-HO lights and various Arcadia ProT5 and ShadeDweller systems.
All versions are 100 mm wide and 50 mm deep.

Choose a protective grille that is suitable for your light fitting and its dimensions.

Width and depth for all variants: 100 × 50 mm. Secure the lamp guard with four suitable screws and feed the cables through the designated openings. Disconnect the lighting from the mains before installation, cleaning or changing the lamp, and allow the lamp to cool down. Wipe the grille clean as required to ensure that deposits affect light transmission as little as possible.
Zoo Roco Tip: Before purchasing, check the exact model name and length of your light fitting. A protective grille does not replace the prescribed distances from the lighting. When setting up your enclosure, also bear in mind that even a light-transmitting grille blocks some of the UV radiation.
