Juwel AquaHeat - Programmable heater for aquariums

The Juwel control heater reliably and safely ensures the right temperature in the aquarium.

Depending on the room temperature and the size of the aquarium, a water temperature of approx. +28 degrees C can be achieved with the Juwel control heater.

Thanks to the use of high-quality contacts and heat-resistant and impact-resistant borosilicate glass (safety glass), Juwel heaters fulfil the highest demands in terms of function and safety and are of course TÜV/GS certified.

In the Rio, Vision, Trigon, Lido and Rekord aquarium models, this control heater is invisibly positioned in the filter housing and optimally integrated into the water circuit of the Bioflow filter system. This ensures even and efficient heat distribution in the aquarium.

The Juwel control heater is available in the following sizes:

In community aquariums with fish/invertebrates from different regions, a water temperature of 24-26 °C has shown to be effective. 30 °C is only suitable for some fish breeding (e.g. discus fish). In addition, the digital display of the external heater always clearly shows the current water temperature. Under gravel heating is NOT used to set the water temperature. An under gravel heating cable ensures a better flow of water through the substrate of the aquarium, as the heated water at the heating cable rises and colder water flows into the areas between the heating cables. Thus, nutrients are flushed to the plant roots and ensure optimal plant growth. Under gravel heating cables must always be supplemented by a "main heater" (JBL ProTemp s or e).
