Two-spotted crickets, also known as Mediterranean or banana crickets, are found mainly in the Mediterranean region. They can become slightly larger than steppe crickets and, unlike them, are black.
As this insect species has to overwinter, it is also ideally equipped for shipping in winter and is considered to be resistant to cold temperatures. Otherwise, the species is comparable with steppe crickets.
