That is why we have developed the BELCANDO® MASTERCRAFT recipes under holistic considerations together with our nutritionists. We use high-quality and as little processed raw materials as possible with all their natural components as sources of protein, fat and carbohydrates.
First and foremost, of course, is our fresh meat, which makes up the “lion’s share” of our recipes. However, dogs do not live on meat alone, which is why we have selected our plant-based ingredients such as amaranth, fava beans and chickpeas with the same care.
We specifically supplement these main nutrient suppliers with ingredients that complete the nutritional profile of the product – and in some cases contain ingredients that can increase the vitality and well-being of the dogs fed with it.
This is how we create – based on the holistic approach – a dog food that is more than the sum of its individual components!
Meat contains important building blocks for the formation and conversion of muscles, organs, tendons and connective tissue and thus helps to maintain important bodily functions.
As a member of the family of carnivores, dogs are particularly good at utilising meat and can easily convert the nutrients it contains into the body's own structures. In addition to many essential amino acids (protein building blocks), meat contains many vitamins (especially vitamin A and various B vitamins) and trace elements such as iron.
