Recipe description for 1 batch of birdie bread (each bag makes 2 batches):Ingredient list for one (1) batch:2 cups TOP's Birdie Bread Mix (about half a bag)1 teaspoon baking powder1 large egg, beaten1.25 cups applesauce or other fruit pureePreheat the oven to 180°C. Combine two (2) cups TOP's Premium Birdie Bread Mix and 1 teaspoon baking powder in a medium mixing bowl. In a separate large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 large beaten egg and applesauce (or other fruit puree). Add the dry ingredients from step 2 to the wet ingredients from step 3 and mix until a smooth batter forms. Pour the batter into a medium-size baking pan or regular muffin pan, or form 2-inch cookies on a greased cookie sheet*. Bake the cookies at 177°C for 15 minutes or until firm. * Do not use PTFE-coated trays.
