They have to be installed inside the terrariums as the temperature/humidity is measured directly at the device. Adhesive tape at the back of the device allows for quick and easy installation. Available are a single thermometer, a single hygrometer and a thermo-/hygrometer combination.  

Thermo Control Pro II circuits Thermo Control PRO II Professional digital thermostat with programmable night setback and timer The Thermo Control PRO II is a further development of the Thermo Control II. The main differences are a real-time clock and two temperature ranges so that different temperatures can be set for day and night. Switching between day/night operation is time-controlled. In contrast to the Thermo Control II, the time can be set in units of minutes for the timer on this model. There are two possible ON/OFF times. In addition, the device can be switched between heating and cooling mode, e.g. for operating fans. When the set temperature is reached, the thermostat switches on instead of off. The maximum switching capacity is 1000W and the temperature range is 0-50°C. In the past, under certain circumstances, a large number of faults have occurred in a batch of devices. These have now been rectified and the current devices work faultlessly! Please note that the Thermo Control Pro 2 has a German plug! It has two time zones that allow different settings for day and night. A real-time clock is integrated in the device so that switching between day and night mode can be done flexibly via the time. A timer is also integrated, allowing you to set two ON/OFF times via the clock. The smallest time period is one minute. Other functions include an alarm function (visual and audible), the option to switch from humidifier mode to dehumidifier mode, e.g. for use with fans, and the option to influence the switching mode of the hygrostat. You can define the deviation at which the hygrostat switches. For example, a value of 15 can be selected, i.e. the humidifier is only switched on when the measured humidity is 15% below the setpoint.
