It automates temperature, humidity and lighting and helps to set constant husbandry conditions and a natural day/night rhythm. Slots / channels (overview) 1: Dimming Heat - dims a heat source to maintain a constant temperature 2: Heat/Cool - switches heating or cooling depending on the setting 3: Humi/Dehumi - controls humidification or dehumidification (e.g. fogger/ventilation) 4: Timer - switchable with time program (additional consumers) 5 & 6: Day/Night - separate switching for day and night devices (e.g. light/night light) Important note: The dimming channel is not suitable for certain lamp types (e.g. some UV/special lamps). For most terrarium set-ups with reptiles, amphibians or plant terrariums in which temperature, humidity and light are to be controlled automatically. 2. what exactly can the device control? Depending on the connected devices, it controls heat sources, cooling (e.g. fan), humidification (e.g. fogger/mister), dehumidification/ventilation and lighting via timer and day/night switching. 3. are sensors included in the scope of delivery? Yes, 2 temperature probes and 1 humidity probe are usually included (for immediate commissioning). 4. can a night setback be set? Yes, a night setback can be programmed so that the temperatures behave more naturally at night. 5. will the appliance continue to function after a power failure? The settings remain saved. Depending on the situation, it may be necessary to set the time again so that timer functions run accurately again. 6. do I also need a thermometer/hygrometer? Not necessarily, as the appliance works with probes. However, a separate measuring device may be useful for additional monitoring (e.g. at a different position in the terrarium). 7. which devices should not be operated on the dimming channel? Not every lamp or heat source is dimmable (e.g. certain UV/special lamps). Please always check whether the connected device is approved for dimming - otherwise use the switching channels (Heat/Cool).8. how to position the probes correctly? It is best to position the temperature probes where the target values are relevant (e.g. warm area and cool area). Position the humidity probe so that it does not hang directly in the water jet of a fogger in order to avoid incorrect measurements.

Thermo Control Pro II circuits Thermo Control PRO II Professional digital thermostat with programmable night setback and timer The Thermo Control PRO II is a further development of the Thermo Control II. The main differences are a real-time clock and two temperature ranges so that different temperatures can be set for day and night. Switching between day/night operation is time-controlled. In contrast to the Thermo Control II, the time can be set in units of minutes for the timer on this model. There are two possible ON/OFF times. In addition, the device can be switched between heating and cooling mode, e.g. for operating fans. When the set temperature is reached, the thermostat switches on instead of off. The maximum switching capacity is 1000W and the temperature range is 0-50°C. In the past, under certain circumstances, a large number of faults have occurred in a batch of devices. These have now been rectified and the current devices work faultlessly! Please note that the Thermo Control Pro 2 has a German plug! A transition plug is therefore necessary.Two-pole devices can be connected to the controller.
