Small animal hutch for rabbits – weatherproof and hygienic

A good rabbit hutch must be able to do two things reliably in everyday life: It should protect your animals from the weather and at the same time be built in such a way that care and cleaning remain uncomplicated. This is exactly where this small animal hutch scores with a well thought-out combination of weatherproof materials, practical details and a comfortable interior height.

The robust bitumen roof reliably protects the hutch from rain and strong sunlight. At the same time, the roof can be opened – particularly practical if you want to check quickly, add food or clean the hutch easily. An additional intermediate shelf in the roof area provides storage space for small items such as brush, gloves or treats. This keeps important things where you need them: right at the hutch.

For hygiene, the pull-out, galvanised tray is used. It can be easily removed, emptied and cleaned – this saves time and makes regular hutch cleaning easier. A clean environment supports the wellbeing of your rabbits and also ensures a more pleasant atmosphere around the hutch. The construction is also designed for durability: The hutch is made of varnished wood and is additionally treated with wood protection paint . The water-based varnish used is harmless for your animals.

Extended feet raise the hutch off the ground, improve ground ventilation and offer better protection for the wood against rising damp. This hutch can either be placed in an existing outdoor enclosure with fences or combined with the free-range enclosure 70345. This creates a spacious, wonderful home for rabbits.
