Like many bromeliads, they live epiphytically on trees and rocks. Their roots serve almost exclusively as an adhesive organ.The plants are delivered assorted by us according to stock - this means you will not receive the whole assortment shown, but as many "pieces" as you order Tillandsias absorb the necessary nutrients and water through their leaves. Their distribution extends across many regions in different climate zones, e.g. tillandsias thrive in ever-humid rainforests, cooler mountain forests, and some species even in semi-deserts.Tillandsias are relatively undemanding plants, which makes them easy to care for. Tillandsias require a bright location, but one that is protected from direct sunlight, especially in summer.
