Easy Start is a combination of highly active bacteria cultures. This bacterial carrier provides for an accelerated multiplication of useful bacteria, so that the occurrence of e.g. poisonous nitrite can be avoided. Ammonia and nitrite are toxic to fish. Normally, the biology and the filter should manage to keep the values within a problem-free range. This biological balance can be disturbed by medication, overfeeding and/or too many fish, resulting in problematic concentrations of the toxins mentioned. Immediate action is essential to prevent losses! By adding JBL Detoxol, the toxins are safely and quickly neutralized within 10 minutes and no longer pose a danger. In addition, the causes of the toxins should be identified and eliminated. Differences to other products: Water conditioner such as JBL Biotopol: The water conditioner also neutralizes chlorine & chloramine as well as heavy metals. But it cannot neutralize toxic nitrogen compounds such as ammonia and nitrite. When water evaporates, evaporative cooling is produced. This physical process is used here. Many freshwater fish and plants do not tolerate temperatures above 30 °C and even 27-30 °C is already a strain. Corals also die at temperatures above 30 °C. It is therefore essential to cool the water at high temperatures.The fans cause a stream of air to flow over the water surface, which leads to evaporation. The evaporating water must of course be replenished. As only pure water (H2O) evaporates, the minerals that cause the hardness of the water remain in the aquarium water, which increases in hardness. Soft water (or osmosis or distilled water) must therefore be topped up.Topping up with hard tap water would lead to an increase in the total hardness of the aquarium.
