Seneye Home - Freshwater Aquarium - Automatically tests multiple life critical parameters
temperature - constantly monitors water temperature, so you can get an alert if your heater breaks
free ammonia - monitors the highly toxic free ammonia (NH3) at very low levels, so you can stop your fish from dying from Ammonia posioning
pH monitoring - the seneye monitors pH in your aquarium or pond water between 6.4 and 9. This range is ideal for most aquatic life and by monitoring this range increased accuracy has be achieved.
Total Light - monitor your light levels over the course of the day and know if if your lights fail.
water level -
readings are only taken when the seneye device is in water, no false readings.

Ever lost a fish and not know why? Ever experience new tank syndrome and wished there was a way of knowing when the water is safe for your fish? With a seneye Home it’s now possible for even the most inexperienced fish keeper to be successful and become an expert. Automatic monitoring with a seneye Home can save fish from the devastating effects of ammonia poisoning, as well as from harmful swings in pH and temperature. The intelligent software can even alert the you before there is a problem, so you can relax and enjoy without having to worry – all this and it’s so simple to use.
As the seneye devices are USB there are multiple connection options available. When connected to the Power Adaptor readings are stored every hour and flashing lights on the device indicate if there is a problem. Readings are stored for 35 days and are automatically uploaded once reconnected to a PC.
JBL ProScan
Multi water test with evaluation by means of smartphone app
Contains 24 analysis strips ( GH, KH, pH, nitrite, nitrate, chlorine and for the calculation of CO₂) with matching JBL ProScan ColorCard.
The colour chart serves as a reference when scanning the analysis strip.
The result is evaluated and, where necessary, instructions are displayed to show how to optimize the water values.
The appropriate app is available free of charge.
JBL CO₂ Direct Test Set - Quick test to determine the carbon dioxide content in freshwater aquariums, CO2 Direct Test-Set
Simple and reliable control of the water values of aquariums.
Determines the optimal carbon dioxide content for fresh and saltwater aquariums
Colour change test: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagent drop by drop until colour changes. Number of drops = level of carbon dioxide content
To use: in case of green algae problems, non-growing plants or fish mortality: once a week
Healthy aquariums with conditions close to natureThe right water values are dependent on the fish stock and the plants in the aquarium. Even if the water looks clear it can be contaminated. With bad values diseases or algae can appear in the aquarium. To maintain a healthy aquarium with conditions close to nature it is important to check and adapt the water values regularly.
For each water analysis JBL provides water tests in the form of quick tests or colour change tests. These determine a certain value or several values in one go. With these water tests you can recognise algae problems and negative nitrate, nitrite, potassium, magnesium values etc.
Why test?Carbon dioxide is the most important plant nutrient. The optimal value lies between 20-25 mg/l. This level is harmless for fish and ensures thriving plant growth.

JBL Iron Test Fe - Quick test to determine the iron content in freshwater/marine water aquariums & ponds
Easy and reliable monitoring of the water values of aquariums/ponds.
Helps determine the ideal iron content to check the fertilisation for freshwater and marine water
Laboratory comparator system to compensate the inherent water colouring: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagents to another cuvette, place cuvettes in holder, read values on colour chart
Duration of use: for setting up a new aquarium: 1 x after setting up, afterwards weekly. In case of green algae problems or when plants don’t grow properly.
Testing aquarium water for healthy, clear water
1 quick test, Iron Test Fe. Contents for approx. 50 measurements, incl. reagent, 2 glassvials with screw cap, syringe, comparator block and Fe colour scale. Refill reagent available separately
Healthy aquariums with conditions close to natureThe right water values are dependent on the fish stock and the plants inside the aquarium.
Why test? In addition to a sufficient CO2 supply, iron and trace elements are essential for water plants. Strongly growing aquatic plants permanently need iron and other trace elements, and these are only durable for a limited period during the coupling to so-called chelates, a common feature in modern fertiliser preparations (e.g. JBL Ferropol, JBL Fe +Microelements), so regular monitoring with the JBL Iron Test Fe is needed, along with repeated fertilisation if necessary. Pond owners should check their well water for iron before using it for their pond. Too high iron content can lead to problems in the pond.
JBL Nitrite Test NO2 - Quick test for the determination of the nitrite content in fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds
Easy and reliable monitoring of the water values of aquariums and ponds. Determination of the optimal nitrite value for the filter control in freshwater and seawater
Laboratory comparator system to compensate the inherent water colouring: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagents to another cuvette, place both cuvettes in holder, read values on colour chart
When to use: for setting up a new freshwater aquarium: daily for 3 weeks. For initial setup with marine water: once a week. During fish disease or fish mortality.
1 quick test, Nitrite Test NO2. Contents for approx. 50 measurements. Incl. 2 reagents, 2 glass vials with screw cap, syringe, comparator block and colour scale. Refill ingredients available separatelyHealthy aquarium/healthy pond with conditions close to nature

For each water analysis JBL provides water tests in the form of quick tests or colour change tests. These determine a certain value or several values in one go. With these water tests you can recognise algae problems and negative nitrate, nitrite, potassium, magnesium values etc.
Why test?Nitrite results during the degradation by bacteria of protein and ammonium. It is normally processed further into non-toxic nitrate. In aquarium and pond water nitrite (NO2) should not be measurable. If nitrate is measurable, it is a sign that the bacterial degradation process has been disturbed, and from a concentration of 0.4 mg/l it is dangerous or even fatal for fish, because nitrite blocks the transport of oxygen in the blood. This can be remedied by water changes and good bacteria starters, such as JBL Denitrol and JBL BactoPond.
JBL KH Test - Quick test to determine the carbonate hardness in freshwater and saltwater aquariums and ponds
Simple and reliable control of water values in aquariums and ponds.
Determination of the optimal carbonate hardness for freshwater and saltwater
Colour change test: Fill plastic cuvette with water sample, add reagent drop by drop until colour changes from blue to yellow. Number of drops = level of carbonate hardness
When to use: when setting up a new aquarium: once a week
1 quick test, KH Test. Incl. reagent and plastic vial. Refill reagent avaiable separately

Why test? The well-being of aquarium and pond dwellers and the growth of aquatic plants depend to a large extent on the KH level being kept as constant as possible. The carbanate hardness is one of the most important water values since it keeps the pH level stable. The KH should never drop below 4 °dKH.
