This new cartridge filter is an absolute new development. The filter operates according to the flow principle: the water to be filtered passes through a long path through the cartridge with filter materials.

This set is suitable for pond up to 60,000 liters.

Description of the components:

Giant Biofill XL cartridge filter:

 The velda Giant Biofill XL works according to the flow principle. The large filter has a gross capacity of 250 liters. can be coupled via connectors even more filters. The filter has a waste outlet. By simply opening the slide dirt and sludge is discharged.

The water passes through on a long road cartridge with filter materials:

• In the first cassette the UV-C units and the aeration pump are installed. Optional can be used here a heater.
• The second cartridge is filled with bio balls to the settlement of effective microorganisms.
• IIn the third case there is a so-called Japan mat. Filter these mats the fine dirt particles from the water and included after running billions of microorganisms.
