Medaka No-Mai "Next" from Hikari

Hikari Medaka No-Mai Next is a high quality juvenile food for Medaka (Japanese rice fish), specially designed to promote rapid growth, health and smooth development of juvenile fish.

Advantages at a glance

  • Contains Hikari-Germ™ (probiotic) to support digestion & immune system

  • Optimized for fish in the length range from approx. 10 mm to 25 mm

  • High-quality nutrient mixture to reduce water pollution caused by undigested residues

  • Easily available pellets for a smooth transition from baby to junior food

Hikari Medaka No-Mai Next was developed to promote the growth of young medakas after the baby feeding phase. The food is designed to spread the pellets quickly over the water surface so that the fish can easily reach them.

The included probiotic formula Hikari-Germ™ supports digestion and immune defense and can help improve water quality by reducing waste from incomplete digestion.

The food is ideally suited for medaka in the juvenile stage (approx. 1-2.5 cm long) and serves as an intermediate link between baby food and adult food.

Zoo Roco tip

According to the manufacturer, the HUFA and phospholipids it contains contribute to an increased hatching rate and improved egg development. During cold days or high water temperatures, the amount of food should be reduced as the animals' metabolism reacts more slowly or sensitively. Zoo Roco tip Feed several small portions per day instead of one large one - this will keep the water cleaner and provide your medaka with an optimum supply of nutrients. Combine Medaka-No-Mai Breed with Medaka-No-Mai Next or Baby formulas as soon as young animals are present. If the tap water is hard, use decalcified or filtered water to protect the food pellets and water quality.Customers also searched for: Medaka food, food for rice fish, breeding food Medaka, Hikari Medaka, Hikari No-Mai, breeding food, fish breeding food Switzerland, food for Medaka, premium food Medaka

PRONOVO BEL FLUID 50ML
JBL PRONOVO BEL FLUIDLiquid rearing food for young fish in the aquarium. Complete nutrition: ultra-fine homogenate (finest food dissolved in water) from over 50 natural raw materials.Nutritious, easily digestible and optimal growth due to Artemia crustacean ingredients. Ideal feeding conditions for young fish, for which dust food is still too bigNo water turbidity: reduced algae growth due to adjusted phosphate content, better water quality due to improved digestibility of the food, reducing fish excretion Natural raw materials without artificial additives for a natural diet and healthy aquarium fishScope of delivery: original sealed, airtight and lightproof, recyclable tin with dosing lid as feeding aid The composition of the ideal growth food for young fish depends on many factors. The young fish are growing and need important nutrients for development. Vital vitamins and the bioelement inositol are needed to strengthen the immune system. With young fish it is essential that the food size fits the mouth size. It is better to feed a feed that is too small than a feed that is too large! The appropriate phosphate content of the feed is essential for healthy bone formation. Too little phosphate and calcium will lead to bone deformities. When the young fish are large enough, supplementation with live Artemia (brine shrimp) is ideal. JBL offers a complete program for this = JBL Artemio. In the case of fry, a distinction is made between the fry of egg-laying and live-bearing species. After hatching, the young fish of egg-laying species are considerably smaller and first feed on infusoria (microorganisms) which they find in their environment. Many species then also accept liquid food (JBL PRONOVO BEL FLUID). Shortly afterwards they accept fine dust food (JBL PRONOVO BEL BABY TOM or the dust food from the first tin of the JBL PRONOVO BABY set). As soon as they have grown again a little, you can change to the 2nd can of JBL PRONOVO BABY. If the parents are brooders (e.g. cichlids), a long pipette or a piece of hose helps to bring the food dissolved in water specifically to the young fish. In the case of egg-laying or even mouth-breeding species, the young fish are larger and immediately eat the food from the second can of JBL PRONOVO BABY and live Artemia (JBL Artemio System). A head start through research Results of JBL research expeditions, together with the knowledge of the JBL research and development team, resulted in optimal, balanced food mixtures made from high-quality ingredients.

Cyperus alternifolius (18 cm) – Cyperus alternifolius
Cyperus alternifolius – Cyprus grass for pond edgeCyperus alternifolius (Umbrella Plant) is a striking structural plant with umbrella-shaped growth for the garden pond. With a height of 60–80 cm, it adds height and clear lines to the shore and shallow water zones. It is suitable for planting at depths of 0 to –15 cm, and flowers from May to July (V–VII).Flowering period: V–VII (May to July)Height: approx. 60–80 cmPlanting depth: 0 to –15 cmPot size: approx. 18 cmPlant specifications: Its distinctive umbrella-shaped growth adds a modern, neat accent at the pond edge. The planting depth of 0 to –15 cm means the Cyprus grass can be flexibly positioned in edge and shallow water areas. The 18 cm pot ensures a stable start and makes planting by the pond easier.Technical data:Botanical name: Cyperus alternifoliusGerman name: Cyprus grass (Umbrella Plant)Height (cm): 60 / 80 cmPlanting depth: 0 / –15 cmFlowering period: V–VIIWinter hardiness: Zone 1 / 2Pot size: 18 cmWith Cyperus alternifolius (Cyprus grass / Umbrella Plant), you introduce a pond edge plant to your garden that immediately stands out for its emphatic umbrella-shaped silhouette. It is exactly this clear form that makes it so popular: it brings structure to the shore planting, appears tidy and creates an exciting contrast to soft-growing marsh and flowering plants. The Cyprus grass appears especially harmonious at modern ponds or clearly defined shorelines – but it can also impress as a deliberate structural focal point in natural-style designs. With a height of approx. 60 to 80 cm, Cyperus alternifolius is suitable for the middle to background of edge plantings. It visually builds up the shore zone without completely covering the pond. The indicated flowering period from May to July (V–VII) complements the seasonal progression, in this plant the focus is usually on the foliage and shape. When planted in small groups it creates a calm, architectural effect; planted individually, the Cyprus grass becomes a real eye-catcher. The recommended planting depth of 0 to –15 cm makes the plant ideal for the shore and shallow water area. You can plant it directly in moist bank soil or place it in the very shallow water zone.Supplied in a 18 cm pot, you receive a strong root volume, which makes it easier to establish and ensures greater stability. For a neat pond edge and maximum control, a planting basket is a practical option – this way, the plant stays where it works best and can easily be moved if required.Note on shipping: We make every effort to ensure our plants arrive healthy and undamaged. Despite the utmost care, plants may be slightly damaged during shipping or other unforeseen events. This includes brown leaves as well as snapped branches. We accept no liability for this. Do not plant into open water such as lakes or biotopes.Zoo-Roco tip: Plant Cyperus alternifolius so that the “umbrellas” are clearly visible at eye level – it looks best when slightly reflected in the water. For a neat pond edge, place the pot or basket at 0 to –15 cm depth and use a low ground cover at the front so the transition appears natural.
