Terms and Conditions

Ordering is very easy with us!
You can send your order directly from the cart by e-mail. Of course, phone orders during the store opening times can be made.
All orders are shipped within 48 hours (if everything is in stock). All prices are inclusive the current VAT.

For reasons of economy (postage, customs) we only deliver within Switzerland and Liechtenstein goods.

Should items not be in stock, they will be delivered in addition as soon as possible.
We reserve the right to amend order quantities (reduce) if for reasons of economy a subsequent delivery is too expensive.
You order 10 bowls of cat food for CHF 1.35.
We only have 8 pieces left in stock - then you receive the 8 pieces, we will charge 8 pieces, but you will not receive an additional delivery for the 2 pieces left.

Terms of payment
The delivery will be made on account. You will receive a payment slip with which you can pay the goods within 10 days easily by post or bank.
You can also send us a WIR-Cheque (80% WIR / 20% cash) and carry out the payment this way.

The goods remain the property of Zoo Roco AG until full payment.

We reserve the right to send initial deliveries or orders of high value of goods delivered against prepayment.

Delay of payment:
If you are in delay with a payment, we charge:
CHF 10.-- dunning fee - 1st reminder
CHF 15.-- dunning fee - 2nd reminder
New orders will only be processed, if no open invoices are pending.

The reminders will be sent to the registred email address - there is no reminder sent by sending it through the post.

After the second reminder, the case is handed over to a collection agency - the costs are borne by the debtor because it has not met the terms of payment.

For operation costs, expenses of CHF 150.-- are going to be levied. This covers our costs - the collection cost will be charged to the debtor additionally.

Should orders be charged with a discount, the discount expires if the invoice is not paid on time.

The bonus points will only be credited by the system, if the invoice does not fall into the dunning status and was paid on time.

Default of acceptance 
If the acceptance of the orderer goods is refused by the customer, the customers is in default of acceptance and shall bear all costs incurred and incurring costs.

If a parcel is not picked up, the buyer shall bear the return postage and the postage for the new delivery of the goods. In case of a waiver of a new delivery, the actual postage costs will be billed = shipping postage + return postage.
We charge a processing fee of Fr. 20.00

We grant a guarantee in accordance to the conditions of the manufacturer. In case of detectable defects we can decide of our choise to either rework or make a free goods replacement. A right for change or reduction as well as compensation for damages of any kind is excluded unless the exclusion of such rights is contrary to mandatory statory provision.

Shipping costs
There is a shipping fee of CHF 8.-- that will be charged. If a partial delivery is desired, there is a postage surcharge of CHF 8.--
This shipping fee applies up to a weight of 30 kg. For heavier shipments an appropriate surcharge depending on the weight or size will be charged. Please ask about the conditions for heavy shipments.
Frozen food will only be sent with overnight express and a postage fraction of CHF 20.00.

Exchange or return of non-matching tiems is possible within 14 days in original packaging and in unused condition. The return postage will always be borne by the purchaser.
For goods that have a transport surcharge (can be seen in the description), must be paid by the purchaser.

  • Custom and special orders may not be returnd.
  • Also books, DVDs and software can not be exchanged or returned.

If the customer sends the item back regardless, the actual postage cost and a handling fee of Fr. 20.00 will be charged for redelivery. This amount must be paid in advance. A credit will not be created.

Transport surcharge for different goods(as shown in the description) must be paid by the buyer.

We charge a processing fee of Fr. 5.00 for any returns, which will be refunded in the order of the replacement product(different size).

If the customer sends back the whole order, the actual postage costs by weight and a processing fee of Fr. 5.00 will be charged.

A replacement takes place if the article adapt in another size.
You must order the substitute article in our online shop. In that case, we won't charge a processing fee.

Complaints can only be made within 7 days of receipt of goods.

Place of fulfilment and jurisdiction
Place of fulfilment and jurisdiction for all rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship for both parties is Lyss.
