Das cdVet insektoVet Umgebungsspray ist ein effektives Insektizid zur Bekämpfung von kriechenden und stechenden Insekten wie Flöhen, Läusen, Milben und Zecken. Es wird speziell für die Anwendung in der Umgebung von Haustieren wie Hunden, Katzen und Nagetieren entwickelt. Das Spray basiert auf dem Wirkstoff Geraniol, gewonnen aus den Blättern des Palmarosa-Geraniumgrases, und kann direkt auf Textilien und andere Oberflächen aufgetragen werden, wo die Tiere sich aufhalten. Das Spray zerstört den Chitinpanzer der Insekten und blockiert deren Atemwege, was zu einem Austrocknen und Absterben der Parasiten führt. Es ist besonders dafür geeignet, die Umgebung von Haustieren wie Schlafplätze und Ruhezonen zu behandeln, und es kann prophylaktisch eingesetzt werden, um einem Befall vorzubeugen. Das insektoVet Umgebungsspray ist auch für die Anwendung in der Nähe von Jungtieren ab vier Monaten sicher.
Ein grosser Vorteil dieses Produkts ist seine Formulierung aus natürlichen ätherischen Ölen, die eine sichere und umweltfreundliche Alternative zu herkömmlichen chemischen Mitteln bietet. Es hat einen angenehmen Duft und ist einfach in der Anwendung, wobei keine Wartezeit vor dem Wiederbetreten der behandelten Bereiche erforderlich ist.
Es ist jedoch wichtig, dass das Spray vor Gebrauch gut geschüttelt wird und nicht unter Temperaturen von 18°C gelagert wird. Direkter Kontakt mit Augen und Schleimhäuten sollte vermieden werden, und es sollte darauf geachtet werden, dass Kinder keinen Zugang zu dem Spray haben.

Rodents and rabbits, what's the difference?
In the classification system, rabbits are not rodents, but hares. It is therefore technically incorrect to refer to rabbits as rodents.
Incidentally, rabbits are not hares either, although we often say dwarf hare in colloquial language.
Hares are nest fledglings (the young are born with fur and open eyes), rabbits are nest hoppers (they are born naked and their eyes only open after about 10 days). Rabbits also have much larger ears and stronger hind legs.
Which rodents can be kept as pets?
The following rodents are kept as pets:
Dwarf hamsters, golden hamsters, teddy hamsters, coloured mice, gerbils, coloured rats, degus, chinchillas and guinea pigs.
(Rabbits are classified as lagomorphs, which is why they are not mentioned above).
Which exotic small mammals can be kept as pets?
Exotic small mammals include sugar gliders (pictured), chipmunks and tree squirrels, tenrecs, white-bellied hedgehogs, dwarf dormice and the steppe lemming.
Please note that many of the exotic small mammals require a licence and may not be kept just like that.
