But among aquarium hobbyists it has become accepted that we distinguish between crabs (claw-bearing) and shrimps. We also linguistically include crabs (with a rather round shell) among the crayfish. When it comes to food, we can easily group all claw-bearing species together, as their feeding habits are very similar. Therefore it is not necessary to throw a large amount of wafers into an aquarium. Targeted individual feeding is always more sensible.
