Shrimp King Protein enthält mit 42,2% einen gegenüber dem Hauptfutter deutlich erhöhten Proteinanteil. Es wird im Rahmen des normalen Futterprogramms zur Abwechslung und Nahrungsergänzung gefüttert. Gleichzeitig erlaubt Shrimp King Protein eine erhöhte Proteinversorgung während Zeiten höheren Bedarfs, z.B. während der Vermehrungsphase und Eibildung. Auch Garnelenarten mit einem grundsätzlich höheren Proteinbedarf lassen sich so artgerecht ernähren.

Die Proteine und essentiellen Aminosäuren stammen alle maßgeblich aus wasserlebenden Futtertieren (Gammarus, Daphnien, dekapsulierte Artemiacysten, Garnelen, Grünlippmuschel) und weisen dadurch eine optimale ernährungsphysiologische Zusammensetzung und Bioverfügbarkeit auf.
