Tranpsarent water hoseTransparent hose for aquariums and pondsFlexible green hose available in various diameters (4/6; 9/12; 12/16; 16/22) Aquarium hose for various purposes, such as air supply (4/6 mm), water change, filter, UV-C water clarifier etc. Data printed on hose: dimensions and EAN. Ozone, salt, acid, alkali, grease and solvent (non-polar) resistant. Available as air hose or water hose in different diameters (4/6, 9/12, 12/16, 16/22 mm) Scope of delivery: one environmentally friendly cardboard reel with rolled-up (unkinked) hose in the color green-transparent Hoses for the aquarium: The operation of an aquarium always requires the use of different hoses. JBL offers hoses for the aquarium in high quality and in various sizes and colors. High quality: JBL air and water hoses are free of heavy metals. They are of high quality and have a card for hanging or are supplied on an environmentally friendly cardboard reel (for dealers and breeders) Tip for use: Tubing is sometimes unruly, slightly kinked, or in a shape that doesn't fit. Place the tubing in hot water for 20 minutes. After that the hose is much more flexible and free of kinks For CO2 systems: Most plastics are permeable to the gas CO2. Therefore, special CO2-resistant tubes are offered for CO2 systems, e.g. JBL PROFLORA CO2 TAIFUN TUBE in black or transparent.

Hoses for the aquariumThe operation of an aquarium frequently requires the use of different hoses. JBL provides aquarium hoses in premium quality and in different sizes and colours.Premium qualityThe JBL water hose is free of heavy metals. It is made of food-safe, high-quality material.
JBL Ammonium Test NH4 - Quick test
for the determination of ammonium/ammonia content in fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds
Controls the water values in aquariums/ponds easily and reliably.
Determines the ideal ammonium/ammonia value for filter checking in fresh and saltwater
Laboratory comparator system to compensate the inherent water colouring: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagents to another cuvette, place both cuvettes in holder, read values on colour chart, read in pH/NH4 table, how much ammonium has changed into toxic ammonia
Duration of use: for setting up a new freshwater aquarium: 1 x daily. Initial setup with marine water: once a week. During fish diseases or fish mortality.
1 quick test, Ammonium Test NH4. Contents for approx. 50 measurements. Incl. 3 reagents, 2 glass vials with screw cap, syringe, comparator block and colour scale. Refill reagents available separately
Healthy aquarium/healthy pond with conditions close to natureThe right water values are dependent on the fish stock and the plants in the aquarium/pond. Even if the water looks clear it can be contaminated. With bad values diseases or algae can appear in the aquarium/pond. To maintain a healthy aquarium with conditions close to nature it is important to check and adapt the water values regularly.
Why test? The degradation or mineralisation process of all organic substances in the aquarium and pond follows these stages: proteins > ammonium > nitrite > nitrate. By measuring these stages conclusions can be drawn about the “functioning” of the systems aquarium and pond. If the ammonium or nitrite level is too high it can lead to disturbances of the bacterial balance. Ammonium is not usually measurable in a maintained aquarium with an effective biological filter and in a correctly set up garden pond. Ammonium is an important plant nutrient and normally non-toxic for fish. But depending on the pH value ammonia, which is toxic for fish, can be formed from the ammonium ion.
JBL Phosphate Test sensitive - Quick test to determine the phosphate content in fresh and saltwater aquariums and ponds
Easy and reliable monitoring of the water values of aquariums and ponds.
Determines the phosphate value to control algae in freshwater and seawater
Laboratory comparator system to compensate the inherent water colouring: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagents to another cuvette, place both cuvettes in holder, read values on colour chart
when setting up a new freshwater aquarium: once a week. in case of green algae problems
Package contents: 1 quick test, Phosphate Test PO4. Contents for approx. 50 measurements. Incl. 2 reagents, 2 glass vials, with screw cap, syringe, dosing spoon, comparator block and colour scale.
JBL pH Test 7.4-9.0 - Quick test to determine the pH values in ponds, freshwater and marine aquariums in the range 7.4-9.0
Easy and reliable monitoring of the water values of aquariums and ponds. Determines the ideal pH value for freshwater and seawater
Laboratory comparator system to compensate the inherent water colouring: fill plastic cuvette with sample water, add reagent to another cuvette, place both cuvettes in holder, read values on colour chart
When to use: for setting up a new aquarium: daily for one week, afterwards weekly
Online Laboratory: regular control for a healthy aquarium/pond with conditions close to nature. JBL has water tests in the form of quick tests or colour change tests for every water analysis. Testing aquarium water for healthy, clear water
Package contents: 1 quick test, pH Test 7.4-9.0. Contents for approx. 80 measurements. Incl. reagent, 2 glass vials with screw cap, syringe, dosing spoon and colour scale. Refill reagent available separately

These determine a certain value or several values in one go. With these water tests you can recognise algae problems and negative nitrate, nitrite, potassium, magnesium values etc.Why test? The well-being of aquarium and pond dwellers and the growth of aquatic plants depend to a large extent on the pH level being kept as constant as possible. The pH level can also affect many substances dissolved in the water. Fluctuations in the pH level are definitely to be avoided.JBL Online LaboratoryRegular control for a healthy aquarium/pond with conditions close to nature. Enter your water values into the JBL Online Laboratory and get an in-depth analysis of your values within seconds.Recommended pH values:Freshwater aquarium (community aquarium): 6.5-7.5Lake Malawi/Lake Tanganyika aquarium: 7.8-9.2Plant aquarium with few fish (aquascaping): 6.0-7.0Marine aquarium: 7.9-8.5Pond: 7.5-8.5
JBL KH Test - Quick test to determine the carbonate hardness in freshwater and saltwater aquariums and ponds
Simple and reliable control of water values in aquariums and ponds.
Determination of the optimal carbonate hardness for freshwater and saltwater
Colour change test: Fill plastic cuvette with water sample, add reagent drop by drop until colour changes from blue to yellow. Number of drops = level of carbonate hardness
When to use: when setting up a new aquarium: once a week
1 quick test, KH Test. Incl. reagent and plastic vial. Refill reagent avaiable separately

The carbanate hardness is one of the most important water values since it keeps the pH level stable. The KH should never drop below 4 °dKH.
